We partner in a variety of ways with community organizations, academic institutions, and others to develop workshops, conferences, and seminars which highlight important issues related to health disparities research.

Health Disparities Workshops and Conferences

Workshops and conferences provide an excellent venue to showcase and support promote health disparities research being conducted at UNC Chapel Hill and other area institutions. Our goal is to create a meeting place for community members, researchers, and staff to network and develop new research partnerships in their areas of interest.

ECHO and partners at area Historically Black College and Universities have also sponsored a variety of skill-building workshops. These one-day workshops focus on aspects of proposal research development including grant writing and grants management.
